शिक्षा पर
विवेकानन्द के शिक्षा-दर्शन ने मात्र सूचना-संग्रह को अस्वीकार करके चरित्र-निर्माण को प्रतिष्ठित किया और यह प्रतिपादित किया कि शिक्षा प्रत्येक मनुष्य में पहले से विद्यमान पूर्णता की अभिव्यक्ति है। उन्होंने एक ऐसी व्यवस्था का आह्वान किया जो पाश्चात्य वैज्ञानिक प्रशिक्षण के श्रेष्ठतम अंशों को भारतीय परम्परा के नैतिक एवं आध्यात्मिक अनुशासन से समन्वित करे, और जन-शिक्षा को भारत के पुनरुत्थान की सर्वाधिक अनिवार्य आवश्यकता बताया। उनकी दृष्टि ने सम्पूर्ण भारत में शैक्षणिक संस्थाओं की स्थापना को गहराई से प्रभावित किया और शिक्षाशास्त्र एवं राष्ट्रीय विकास पर चल रहे विमर्शों को आज भी आकार दे रही है।
